Handmade Christmas Baby Quilt, Baby's First Christmas Blanket, Adult Lap Quilt, Table Topper, Wall Hanging (37.5x37.5)

Handmade Heirloom Quilt using Moda's Starberry line of fabric -- Gender Neutral Ohio Stars in the traditional holiday colors of red and green with matching buffalo check centers.  The red and green fabric is not solid, but has very faint "sketches" in pine branches, holly and flowers (see close up photos).  The quilting is done in swirls of holly leaves and berries.  I did the quilting in a light green color which I just love and it makes this quilt really shine, especially the way it shows up on the red border!  One of a kind! 

The backing is in green with little clusters of white stars with red centers.  The handmade binding is doubled for strength and hand sewn for that fine finishing touch.  It is in a coordinating red with tiny white flowers and green holly leaves and sprigs.

This quilt is not just for babies.  It would look wonderful draped over your couch or chair and would add that little festive holiday touch!  It would also make a wonderful adult lap quilt, Christmas holiday table topper or Christmas wall hanging.  If you would like to use this as a wall hanging, I can hand sew a 4" rod pocket to the back free of charge.  Please email me after purchase to let me know if you would like the rod pocket added.
