The fabric used is Moda Nantucket Summer and every  sailboat is different and  "framed" in navy and white with white and navy striped blocks in each corner.  The same navy and white nautical stripe fabric is used on the binding, which is handmade, doubled for strength and hand sewn for that fine finishing touch.   

The backing is in the Nantucket Summer Fern pattern of navy and white and the quilting is done in a "wind" pattern so it looks like the sailboats are sailing along in the wind!

This handmade quilt is lightweight -- warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  Can be used year round.

Made from only the finest 100% quilter's cotton and 100% high quality cotton batting.
