Detailed multiple small piecing combined with lots of "ruler work" quilting to keep this quilt extra, super soft.  It might not look like it in the photos, but this was a very time-consuming quilt to make.  This line of fabric has such wonderful prints, so although it took a long time, it was fun to make!

This quilt will look great in just about any home -- thrown over the back of the couch or chair even if it's just to take out when you celebrate our many Patriotic holidays each year.  But it's not just for Patriotic holidays -- it looks good year round!

The quilt back is done in newspaper print celebrating our country as well as an extra surprise red and white stripe across the back flanked by navy with white stars (Photo #6 just shows a close up of part of the fabric print).  The handmade binding is in the matching red and white stripe, doubled for strength and hand sewn with a blind stitch for that fine finishing touch.

Made from only the finest 100% quilter's cotton and 100% high quality cotton batting.

This handmade quilt is lightweight, cool in the summer and warm in the winter, and can be used year round.  A great lap quilt for when the air conditioning gets a little chilly in the summer!
