Handmade City Harbor Sailboat - Wall Hanging, Baby or Lap Quilt 41"x52"

Handmade baby quilt, lap quilt or wall hanging of sailboats in the city harbor.  Very peaceful, serene feeling quilt in hues of grey, blue and teal.

For those of you who have houses along the harbor, lake houses, beach houses or just wish you did, this would make a great wall hanging*, draped over the back of your couch or even used as a lap quilt.  

Sailboats quietly rest on the front, with the city and bridges in the background.  Large border in complimentary colors with the feeling of very faint buildings, the water, and teal borders and bands of a matching city "grid" fabric. This same city grid teal fabric is used for the binding, which is doubled for strength and hand sewn with a blind stitch for that fine finishing touch.   

The backing has smaller sailboats, again with the city and bridges faintly in the background.  The quilting is done with gentle rolling waves. 

PLEASE NOTE:  The photographs taken on the beautiful sunny day by the water, make the quilt appear a little more bright and blue than it actually is.  Although it does have undertones of blue throughout, I'd say it's a bit more grey and the borders etc. are teal as described above.  

This handmade quilt is lightweight, yet cool in the summer and warm in the winter.  

Made from only the finest 100% quilter's cotton and 100% high quality cotton batting.
