Handmade Christmas Baby Quilt - Patchwork Baby Blanket - Moda Emmitt & Ivy Fabric (36.5x41.5)

Handmade Christmas Patchwork Baby Quilt for baby boy or baby girl.  This quilt would make a wonderful baby's first Christmas quilt, look adorable draped over the crib, across a chair or on the back of your couch. 

This handmade quilt will be an heirloom quilt passed down from generation to generation.  What a great seasonal quilt to take out year after year.

The blocks on the front are colorful with Snowmen, Christmas Trees, Holly Sprigs and even little stories about Santa, and many more patches.  The backing is in the matching cream colored Snowmen (I do believe one is named Emmitt and the other is named Ivy), with the saying, "let it snow" with little dots of snow and red stars.  The fabric really is adorable.

The Binding is in a coordinating red and cream stripe, doubled and machine sewn for strength, and finished by hand sewing with a blind stitch for that fine finishing touch.

I used a super soft Bamboo Batting in this quilt.  Bamboo is more expensive, but the ultimate softness feels really yummy.  After washing, this quilt will just become softer and softer!

This handmade quilt is lightweight yet nice and warm in the winter.  Perfect for an adult lap quilt too.
