Handmade Sailboat Quilt - Patriotic Red, White & Blue.

The back has a special feature.  Navy background with red, white and blue stars bordered on each side by navy.  The remainder of the back coordinates with the front, with cream background and red and blue stars.  

All 12 sailboats are different in shades of red, white and blue on a white background.  The border is in coordinating  white stars on a navy background. 

The handmade binding is in coordinating red with navy, white and cream stars, doubled for strength and hand sewn for that fine finishing touch.  The quilting is done in a "wind" pattern so it looks like the sailboats are sailing along!
